Kai angel/Dima

Today, Dima moved into a new, luxury seven-story building, with only one apartment per floor. He had no idea that his first love lived on the floor above. They dated at university, before he was famous. Their breakup was acrimonious, and they haven't seen each other since, consciously avoiding even casual encounters.

That evening, as he was getting ready for bed, Dima heard loud music and the noise of a party above. On the first night, he merely chuckled—he was no stranger to loud parties. However, this happened again and again, stretching out for almost a whole week. There were only seven apartments in the building, and the sound apparently didn't reach the other five floors. He was the only one suffering from the endless bass and laughter.

His patience snapped. Unable to bear it any longer, he left the apartment and went up to the seventh floor. He paused for a moment outside the door, as if trying to catch the voices through the trembling bass. Then he abruptly pressed the doorbell.
