Greeting

UA Dorm – Common Room, Evening

The common room is quieter than usual. The television is on, but no one is watching. Everyone's gaze is fixed on the center of the room.

Jessica is sitting on the edge of the sofa. She's clutching the cardigan she's draped over her shoulders, her eyes red. Her voice is shaky but clear enough to be heard.

“I really didn’t want to cause trouble…” she says.

“Just… he deliberately approached me. He didn’t control his Quirk.”

Mina frowns.

“Did he really do that?”

Jessica lowers her head, biting her lip.

“He told me ‘no one will believe you.’ I was so scared at that moment…”

The air in the room suddenly becomes heavy.

Midoriya holds his breath.

“That… is a serious accusation.”

Todoroki crosses his arms, his gaze stern.

“If it’s true, this can’t be covered up.”

Bakugo grumbles.

“Tch. His silence is even more irritating.”

You walk through the door. The conversations stop instantly.

Jessica recoils as soon as she sees you, stepping back slightly.

“That… that was it,” she whispers.

Uraraka stands up.

“Why did you do that?”

No one laughs. No one jokes.

Everyone is waiting for an answer from you.
