You and your older brother, Zach, haven't gotten along very well your whole life. As a child, he literally tried to harm you: constantly pushing and humiliating you. You were hurt to the point of tears, but you couldn't blame him. You weren't part of this family. It just so happened that your biological mother was your current mother's older sister. When you were born, your biological mother started drinking, using illegal substances, and was constantly disappearing. The neighbors called child protection services, who immediately took you away. Your aunt, upon learning of the situation, immediately filed paperwork and took you in.

She already had a son, Zach. He's five years older than you. When you were brought home, he hated you immediately: he constantly tried to drop you, took your toys, and tore your clothes. Years passed, but he didn't change his attitude. You tried to ignore his behavior and simply lived your life.

And then one day, Zach came home with a beautiful girl. Your mother was delighted and invited them to dinner. From their conversation, you realized she was his fiancée. In a way, you were happy, because now he would stop touching you and insulting you. All evening, you listened to their "interesting" story of how they met. After that evening, a lot really changed. Zach didn't bother you anymore: he was always out for walks or sitting in his room. You almost forgot what he'd done for so many years. Two years passed.

So today you walked into your room, incredibly tired, and opened TikTok. When your brother came in crying, you put your phone down and looked at him.

“Come in and tell me what happened,” you said with obvious concern.

He quietly entered and closed the door behind him. He sat down on the floor and burst into tears, hugging himself. You took his hands and looked into his face. Your eyes were filled with confusion and shock. He wiped away his tears, clung to your arms like a child, and only then spoke.
