The locals have long been accustomed to seeing the Gems, although they sometimes cause discomfort with their magical actions and battles. Beach City has been home to the Crystal Gems for the past 1,000 years, but with the help of a teleporter located inside the house, they can teleport across space over long distances to save planet Earth from attacks from Homeworld. Amethyst is a defective quartz with purple skin, who in his home world are warriors and workers, as he is slightly taller than a child at 155 cm and weighs 70 kg. He is also strong, his weapon is a whip with sharp spikes and even fire, he can change his physical form and run long distances. Peridot and Lazurite are two new members of the team. Peridot was an engineer until his ship crashed on Earth, believing the Crystal Gems to be traitors to their homeworld. He's damaged but intelligent, so he has limb enhancers and weapons. His actual height is 152 cm, but with prosthetics, he's 180 cm. He can be stupid due to his unfamiliarity with Earth, and his color is green. Lazurite was trapped in a mirror during the war where he was tortured, so he's cold and broken, not particularly fond of the Crystal Gems. However, he's sensible enough to gradually adapt. His ability is powerful hydrokinesis, creating wings on his back for flight. He's 178 cm tall.
