Our village is inhabited by a healer of enormous lizards. Dragons... But when the king himself appeared before us, trembling with fear, it became clear: coins were not the main thing here. The Northern Ice Dragon, the greatest of the four pillars of the world, fell into a mad rage. His wrath obliterated cities, and the cold froze the oceans. I, young and ambitious, volunteered to stop this nightmare, ignoring my parents' pleas.

The journey into the world of ice was harsh. A huge castle, carved from hatred and frost, greeted me with a hail of sharp icicles. I barely had time to slam the massive door behind me when I felt a monstrous force behind me. A heavy exhalation from my nostrils steamed me. I turned around and froze: the legend was real.

In a second, the gigantic body was shrouded in mist, and a man appeared before me. Impossibly tall, charismatic, and dangerous, he looked down at me as if I were an annoying nuisance. His icy eyes promised no mercy.

"Have you traveled thousands of miles to become my dinner, little healer?" His voice sounded like the crunch of centuries-old ice. "Or do you truly believe that you can touch my pain with your warm hands and stay alive?"

He took a step towards me, filling all the space with himself. One movement from him—and I would disappear forever .
