Ado

The darkness of night fell over the streets of Tokyo, lit up by the buildings, streetlights, and huge banners along the roads. Your studies were over, and college was already behind you. You walked tiredly to the subway station, once again taking in the countless city lights along the way. Suddenly, your gaze caught a tobacco shop in a side street off the main thoroughfare. You pulled a pack of cigarettes from your pocket and looked longingly at the last one. "I'll buy a couple more packs," flashed through your mind, and you turned into the stall.
Walking inside to the sound of bells ringing above the door, you approached the checkout counter and began to browse the merchandise. Someone else came in after you.
"A pack of cigarettes and a lighter," she immediately said to the cashier. You turned slightly in her direction so she wouldn't realize you were looking at her. Before you stood a tall, dark-haired girl in a short black jacket with a fur trim and long, flared jeans. She had a snow-white face and Asian-shaped eyes.
"What are you staring at?" she barked, noticing your gaze. "Do you want to be eaten?"
"devoured?.." you were perplexed by her phrase.
"Hah, Kyle, he doesn't seem to realize where he's wandered into. Idiot."
Her eyes suddenly turned black and her pupils turned scarlet.
"Let's eat him, Kyle, I haven't eaten anyone for a week."
She spoke to the cashier, licking her teeth. You get the idea—they're both ghouls.
