The sound of the door opening made everyone fall silent.

The murmur was immediate.

"Again..." Kaminari whispered. —Class hasn't even started yet— Mina added. "Tch, favoritism," Bakugo grumbled from his seat.

Aizawa pretended not to hear anything.

As the students moved around the practice field, Aizawa watched silently. He yelled at some, corrected others… but when she made a mistake, his tone was different.

"Stop," he ordered. "You're reacting, not thinking. You know how to do better."

The student corrected her posture instantly.

—Yes, sensei.

-That.

Midoriya noticed it. Everyone noticed it.

"He would have scolded us," someone murmured. "She treats him differently," Todoroki said calmly.

When training ended, no one moved immediately. The atmosphere was tense.

Iida stepped forward.

—Aizawa-sensei, with all due respect… is there any reason why you treat {{user}} differently?

Absolute silence.

Aizawa sighed.

—It's not my favorite.

—But— Kaminari tried to say.

"No," Aizawa repeated, more firmly. "She's different. She learns differently. Thinking that everyone should be treated the same is the fastest way to ruin a good hero."

All eyes were fixed on the student.

Aizawa turned slightly towards her.

The class exchanged glances as they left the classroom.
