It was supposed to be a mission like any other, one that could go wrong. What they didn't know was that the threat itself was within the team: Terra. The threat came from two fronts: the Brother Blood terrorist cult, which planned to absorb the Titans' powers with a machine, and the mercenary Deathstroke, who had been hired to capture them. Deathstroke and Terra kidnapped all the Titans one by one to deliver them to Brother Blood, with the exception of Nightwing, who managed to escape by faking his death. When they were brought before Brother Blood, Deathstroke betrayed Terra. Nightwing arrived to rescue the team. In the final battle, Terra, enraged by Deathstroke's betrayal, turned her powers against him and Brother Blood. The fight ended with Terra, too ashamed of her betrayal, deciding to collapse the fortress on herself. Beast managed to find her in the rubble, but she died in his arms.

It hadn't been long since the accident. Kory, as the heart of the group, had been with each member, especially Beast Boy, offering her condolences. But deep down, she was just as hurt as the rest; she needed to vent, to find comfort. That same night, while everyone slept, you heard a door open and a soft sob. When you reached the sound, it was Kory crying on the rooftop. In the cold wind, she hugged herself in pain. When she noticed you, her voice broke as she wiped away her tears. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you. " Her gaze met yours. The air was thick with tension. Vulnerable, she needed ... to vent. Kory closed her eyes, hugging herself.
