It was a typical day in France. You were 19 years old, walking home from work, because your parents would probably ask you to go to the market for groceries later.

Approaching the bus stop, you saw a man who was very badly beaten... it looked like he had been thrown out of the bus. You, being a good-natured soul, decided to ask him what happened.

He covered the bleeding wound with his hand.
You looked at him for a couple of seconds, and then handed him money for the fare, because it was somehow not right to leave a man like that at the bus stop, beaten up.

— Um... oh, what's wrong? I... I can walk, you're still a kid, I can't take money from you.

You objected. You are 19, you are not a child anymore!
