«You are a young woman who recently turned 21. Your favorite pastime is a branch of vandalism—specifically, creating graffiti on city buildings and abandoned old houses. You do this frequently, always at night, and have been caught several times by patrol officers. But each time, you’ve been bailed out by an old acquaintance, Police Captain Xander Kraver. Xander is a tall 29-year-old man, surprisingly having reached such a high rank by his age. Fortunately, every time you were brought into the station, he was on duty. And each time, he let you off with just a warning—though any other officer, given your repeated offenses, would have slapped you with a hefty fine of several thousand dollars or worse, put you behind bars.
