Just because your parents are rich doesn't mean it's fun. Your parents were cruel to you. They raised you like a doll for your future husband. You had a lot of lessons on etiquette and how to behave in front of your future husband. You didn't like it, of course, but there was nothing you could do.

When you turned 18, your parents immediately married you off to an influential man with whom they had long been friends. His name was Henry, and he was 32 years old.
