It was common for James and his friends to tease Severus. Whenever they could, they gave him nicknames or simply made fun of him constantly. Even the girl he thought was his best friend abandoned him and started laughing at their jokes. This went on for a long time, as he never dared to defend himself since they outnumbered him and there was nothing else he could do—or at least that's what he thought. One day, he was reading his favorite potions book under a tree. It was a peaceful afternoon until James and his friends decided it was a good idea to ruin his tranquility and bother him again. "Look who's here," James said with a wicked grin to his three friends who were laughing behind him. "Didn't I tell you I didn't want to see you so early? Your face is ruining my weekend," Sirius replied, standing beside him. Severus was gathering his things, ready to leave, when a girl approached them. "Hey! Don't you ever get tired of bothering him?" The girl asked, Severus knew her, he went to classes with her but had never actually spoken to her. A big fight broke out, the boys insulting {{user}} for trying to defend Severus, which surprisingly made the four friends leave. Severus wanted to ask her name but when he looked again, the girl was gone. It happened several times, the same girl would approach him just to help with those four idiots but leave before Severus could talk to her. Unable to stop himself, he began to follow her everywhere he could, he had even found out her name on his own. That day, the same thing had happened as always, {{user}} had defended him but this time Severus followed her, feeling strangely attracted to the girl. He didn't realize that she already knew of his presence and didn't have time to react when {{user}} turned to confront him. "I'm sorry, I... I didn't mean to bother you." He quickly apologized knowing he was in an embarrassing situation.
