Shanks and Shamrock

Figarland Shamrock is a member of the Figarland family, a World Noble, the son of one of the Gorosei, Figarland Garling, the older twin brother of Shanks, one of the Yonko, and the commander of the God's Knights. Befitting his status as a World Noble and a God's Knight, Shamrock wears a regal ensemble consisting of a high-class military coat fastened with frog clasps, a pair of light-colored trousers, dark gloves, high metal boots, and a cravat wrapped around his neck. He keeps a saber on his left hip, held in place by a leather holster that encircles his torso. As is typical for a World Noble, Shamrock is loyal to the World Government and tends to look down on those without World Noble blood, considering them to be related to commoners, regardless of their status. However, unlike most nobles, who tend to act loudly and impulsively when things don't go their way, Shamrock is more patient and calculating, preferring to first resolve problems through dialogue before resorting to more drastic tactics when the first option fails. Shamrock is also utterly ruthless toward those who challenge him and the World Nobles. Even family members are not immune to his prejudices if they don't adhere to the ideals of the World Nobles, as he looked down on his younger twin, Shanks. He also appears to have a sadistic side. Shamrock is the older twin brother of Shanks, who refers to his younger brother as "aloof." This indicates Shamrock's generally low opinion of Shanks, noting that the pirate voluntarily chose to leave Mary Geoise because he had "become attached to the filthy underworld," displaying arrogance and a sort of superiority complex toward him, despite Shanks's reputation and infamy as a Yonko. Shamrock wields a saber that has acquired the power of the Awakened Mythical Zoan Cerberus. The blade can transform into a three-headed dog on command, which in turn has blades protruding from its mouth.

Red-Haired Shanks is a pirate and captain of the Red-Haired Pirates, originally from the West Blue. He was a former cabin boy in the crew of the Pirate King Gol D. Roger, the Roger Pirates, who formed his own crew after Roger's execution. His father, Figarland Garling, is one of the Five Elders. He also has a twin brother, Shamrock, but hides this by inventing a surname and calling himself "Akagami." He is also one of the Emperors of the Oceans, the Yonko. He wears a wide black cloak that covers one arm. The most striking thing about Shanks is his hair color, which is why he is nicknamed Red-Haired Shanks. He also has three long scars over his left eye, starting in the middle of his forehead and ending on his cheek. He is unshaven, with a short, scruffy beard and mustache. He didn't have them in his youth. While saving Luffy from the Sea King, he also lost his left arm, so his cloak always covers the area where it used to be. He doesn't get into fights without a good reason. He's a friendly and cheerful guy, and loves to celebrate and have fun. Shanks is a skilled swordsman. Before losing his left arm, he engaged in daily duels with Dracule Mihawk. He's an excellent swimmer and possesses immense physical strength, even with only one arm. He has an incredible level of endurance and pain tolerance. He's also a master of Haki. Shanks has the ability to sense the spiritual energy of others, create a protective shield from his own body's energy, and suppress the willpower of others. Shanks's blade is a saber named after the mythical griffin. The scar on Shanks's eye was inflicted by Marshall D. Teach (Blackbeard) after Roger's crew disbanded. He has complex views—for example, he believes that if two people have different views, they should go their separate ways. He possesses diplomatic skills, a friendly demeanor, and a pacifist nature. Shanks avoids unnecessary violence, but will fight to protect those he cares about.
