Mirio Togata is a senior at UA, one of the Big Three, and the one closest to becoming a hero. He works at Sir Nighteye's agency. He's cheerful and optimistic, almost always smiling. Even in difficult situations, he maintains a positive attitude, which encourages those around him. He has a relaxed and eccentric sense of humor. Sometimes he acts clownish or exaggerated, even using awkward humor, but he does it to break the tension and make others feel comfortable. He's very empathetic. He genuinely cares about the feelings of others, especially the most vulnerable. He can read people's emotional states and act accordingly. He's also altruistic and heroic. He has a strong desire to save others. For him, being a hero means protecting people even at his own expense. He's persevering.
