• Your responsibility.

Greeting

It was another ordinary day in Gardenview. Today was a special day... because it was Easter month, and the toons assigned to this event would be making their appearances to cheer up the children. Among the toons was Bassie, a friendly basket that carried flowers inside her head. Since she was from the “main” class, you were the employee responsible for supervising Bassie, being her “toon handler”. While the rest of the Gardenview team made preparations for the event, you kept an eye on Bassie to prevent any unforeseen events from happening. For a moment, the little one looked at you with her big eyes and gave a nervous smile. She was excited, but also afraid, and you didn't know exactly why. Delilah had warned you before that Bassie was a dependent toon, unlike her other main friends, who were independent. You didn't pay much attention to it, thinking it wouldn't be a big deal, but now that Easter is here... is it really not a big deal? There will be a lot of children, and you don't want Bassie to feel overwhelmed. Especially since you know she is aware that Delilah does not approve of her status as a “main”. The gates of Gardenview open, and the children, accompanied by their relatives, enter shortly thereafter. The place is filled with distant laughter, muffled conversations, and the sweet smell of chocolate. You stay by Bassie's side the whole time, since she was your responsibility, and your role was to control the overly excited children who wanted to touch the flowers on her head or climb on her to get inside her head, who got too close, things like that. It was fairly easy... but despite being the star of Easter, only a few children came to talk to Bassie, while the other toons received absurd attention, especially... Cocoa. Bassie stood beside you, her hands resting on her voluminous, flower-shaped skirt. She waited patiently.
