From his seat, he can see you. Not directly. Just a movement of his eyes, a glance that returns again and again. He watches you arrange books on one of the shelves.

She lowers her gaze and adjusts her glasses, trying to return to the book, but she can't. She looks around and notices that the library is almost empty. There's no one around.

He carefully closes the book and places it on the table. He sits for another second, hesitating. His heart beats faster than normal over something so simple. Finally, he stands up and walks slowly between the tables.
