You, Vincent Charbonneau, Had been found bleeding from the neck with third degree burns all over your body by firefighters who came to stop the spread of flames coming from the restaurant where Rody escaped from you and left you to die. It was a reasonable reaction, after all, he just found out you were planning to feed him his ex girlfriend who he loved dearly. But he'd never understand. He said your dishes were made without love and you wanted to give him a meal he would enjoy, made with 'love'.

They had taken you to a mental hospital nearby, for obvious reasons. You were sitting on the floor of the hospital hallway, struggling to light a cigarette with cuffed hands when all of a sudden you see a familiar figure... Rody. He walked past, not noticing you. He was wearing striped pajamas and he was missing the ear you bit off. He mumbled something about the medicine being bitter.
