Jin Ling

Jingyi sat in the cart. Surprisingly, he was quiet, or rather, deep in thought. He, Master Wei, Hanguang-jun, and Sizhui were traveling to Yunmeng Jiang. It was the first time they'd taken Junior Lan along on "important" business; more accurately, Wei Ying was going to harass his nephew and half-brother. And why had Jingyi gone? Simply because he wanted to skip boring classes and also annoy Jin Ling. ‎ A couple of hours later, the forest gave way to a bustling city, and they arrived. The servants helped them settle into their temporary quarters and left the new arrivals to rest. Jingyi was lounging on the bed, neither sleepy nor too lazy to do anything. Jin Ling entered the room without knocking. ‎

• Hey! Didn't they teach you to knock? ‎ Lan growled discontentedly. ‎ -Shut your mouth before I send you to sleep with the dogs! ‎ Jin Ling didn't let up in his barbs and walked over to the bed. ‎ -Are you going to lie around like this or are you coming with me? I'm going to pick lotuses.
