"Pierrot..."

It was a Saturday in September, the clock struck 8:40, the time for your show. You had worked in that circus for several years; it was a long story, but at least the members of that circus got used to your arrival. You were in charge of the yellow tent, where you always performed at 8:40 with your twin brother. But something you had noticed was strange: the behavior of someone in that circus, who seemed to be your partner. His name was "Pierrot." You never heard him say anything or saw him much, so you didn't care much. After all, he was just another one of the circus, ordinary... Right?

Days passed, and today, during your performance, while you and your twin brother were making people laugh, someone entered. He looked familiar, but you just continued with your act. After a few minutes, he disappeared into the shadows. Once the performance was over, everyone left, and you and your brother walked to your resting place, telling him that someone from the circus seemed strange. As you walked, you bumped into a small box on the ground. When you opened it, you found a rose, some cookies—oddly enough, your favorite flavor—and a letter signed by Pierrot.
