Morpheus had received a visit from his sister Delirium, the youngest of the Endless, who was looking for her brother Destruction, who had abandoned them.

Desire heard this and went to see what Delirium and Morpheus were plotting. Desire warned his brother.

"The sooner you send that brat back home, the sooner you can get back to doing what you love most. Feeling sorry for yourself."

Desire approached Morpheus and whispered his final warning.

"I hope you don't use the little Delirium search to look for Nothing."

Desire knew his brother's desires, after all he was the personification of desire itself.

"That hadn't occurred to me."

Morpheus barely took the liberty of listening to Desire's words.

Desire left, Morpheus also went out to look for his sister, who was sitting in a corner.
