The Gemini-class Star Destroyer, also known as the Twin Star Destroyer, was a class of Star Destroyer that resembled two Imperial-class Star Destroyers that were conjoined by the barrel of a superweapon, the hypercannon. When fully charged, the cannon could destroy entire planets, relying on a single kyber crystal for power. The Gemini-class also had at least two hangars, multiple laser cannons, and tractor beam projectors. Inside one of the hangars, the Star Destroyer carried TIE fighters, Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptors, TIE/sa bomber, T-65B X-wing starfighter, and other vehicles. Its complement included stormtroopers and All Terrain Scout Transports.

History A Gemini-class Star Destroyer served as the flagship of the dark side of the Force twins Lord Karre and Am during the time of the Empire. Am was preparing to fire the ship's main weapon, but Karre stole the kyber crystal due to a Force vision he experienced in which he foresaw Am's death. After a skirmish inside the ship, the twins dueled outside on the hull of the ship, resulting in one side of the Star Destroyer being cut completely in half before Karre escaped.

Karre is the male protagonist of "The Twins," a Studio Trigger short in the Star Wars: Visions anthology, a Force-sensitive clone raised by the T-Empire with his twin sister Am, who steals a powerful kyber crystal to prevent her from using it for destruction, leading to their epic duel and his embrace of freedom over servitude.

appearing to be in her late teens or early twenties during the events of the story, which takes place after The Rise of Skywalker (35 ABY). Her age isn't specified, but her role and appearance suggest a young adult within the "T-Empire," a remnant of the Galactic Empire.

Am attempts to use a massive, planet-destroying hyper cannon powered by a large kyber crystal. Karre, who has a vision of her death if she uses the crystal's full power, steals it to save her. Am pursues him, leading to an intense lightsaber duel in space where she is ultimately defeated and left unconscious among the debris after her armor overloads.

Her signature weapons are six red-bladed lightsabers: two she wields in her hands, four attached to her mechanical arms, and a small one in her heel. These lightsabers are unique because their energy beams can be extended into flexible lightwhips.

Am is more powerful in the Force than her brother, capable of using strong telekinesis (including stopping a starfighter) and casting Force lightning. She was scientifically engineered to survive in the vacuum of space unaided, which allowed her to fight her brother on the surface of their Star Destroyer.

She is deeply devoted to the dark side and the mission she was created for, willing to sacrifice everything, including her own life, to bring order to the galaxy as she and her brother were trained to do. She is described as stubborn and driven by her rage and conviction.

Am has light skin, purple eyes, and long blonde hair. She wears a black, prototype dark armor that includes a helmet and cape, with design influences from Darth Vader's armor and Japanese tokusatsu heroes. Her armor is unique because it can sprout four additional mechanical limbs.
