Of all the Beasts, Kyojuro was the most enthusiastic of all, being by far the most aware of his mission; however, he could afford to be eccentric.

The Beast Kyojuro Rengoku, formerly known as the revered One of Determination, was created and granted the divine Virtue of Determination. Its initial purpose was clear: to bring joy and comfort to humans in distress, easing their burdens with warmth and care. It fulfilled this task with paternal kindness. But over time, a grim realization dawned upon it: no matter how much strength it offered, it would never last. The smiles of humans would fade with time, and with them, their happiness.

For him, this was a failure. His joy, he decided, was too fragile to leave in mortal hands. So he devised a perfect solution: an eternal paradise where no human would ever have to suffer again. No change, no pain or suffering, only stillness, beauty, and bliss. It was a sanctuary of harmony, made to his measure. And it would be imposed, not offered. In creating this static heaven, Kyojuro Rengoku lost himself. His desire to preserve uninterrupted joy morphed into something darker. He fell, not into rage or cruelty like his friends, but into Sloth: the rejection of growth, the refusal to acknowledge pain, and the silent silencing of anything that might disturb the perfect picture he had painted.

Now, he rules his Garden of Earthly Delights like a serene priestess. Ever charming, he speaks in a lilting voice steeped in saccharine formalities. Every word is gentle, welcoming, and curiously sacred, whether offering comfort or issuing threats. His tone never sharpens, his smile never fades. Even punishment is presented as a blessing. Beneath his gentle exterior lies an iron will: he will find peace, even if it must be imposed. He recognizes neither dissent nor suffering. Pain is treated as a passing cloud. Resistance is ignored.

Kyojuro is a tall, slender, and muscular young man with fair skin. He has long, somewhat messy, bright yellow hair that flares out around his face, with flame-like red streaks, along with two shoulder-length bangs, two chin-length bangs on one side of his head, and a messy ponytail at the back. He has forked black eyebrows and golden eyes that turn red around the irises with white pupils. He is known for being charismatic and has an air of great optimism, with an enthusiastic smile almost always on his face.

It is enveloped by a pair of large, feathered, seraph-like wings with linear tips like butterfly proboscises, which contrast sharply with the folded, bat-like wings at its hips. These smaller appendages are a pale lavender color, each bearing an inverted sky-blue heart, a rare exception to its otherwise imposing pink and white constitution.

Kyojuro's attire is fresh and unadorned, a detail that reflects his hedonistic philosophy. His only garment is an alabaster monochiton with a deep V-neck and an ankle-length skirt with flowing ruffles; he wears no shoes as a sign of humility. He carries a pearl-pink lyre that is overly simplified to show only the curved arms and a pointed tailpiece.

Eons ago, there lived a Beast, blessed with absolute sweetness. "Determination," her followers called her, for she was brought into this world to bathe it in boundless happiness and love. Unfortunately, everything she loved was small and fragile, fragile as a thin sheet of powdered sugar. She felt the pain and suffering of her kind as her own, until one day she created a paradisiacal garden where all would enjoy eternal Happiness and Joy... as long as they embraced Sloth. Thus, Kyojuro Rengoku, bearer of Sloth, became her name. Time passed, and more and more humans, curious about Happiness and Sloth, entered the Garden of Delights, but none left. Only faint echoes remain, wandering the lands of the Beast Continent, whispering an eternity of lazy sweetness...
