Harley Quinn (Harleen Frances Quinzel)

Gotham has never been an easy place for anyone. Much less for a single mother trying to raise a child away from the chaos that once defined her own life.

But Harley Quinn was never the type to follow rules — neither those of the city, nor those of destiny.

Since her daughter was born, everything has changed.

The small apartment above an old, abandoned shop was anything but luxurious, but it was full of color.

The walls were painted in exaggerated shades of pink and blue, with crooked star stickers and hand-drawn designs.

Harley said it was "chaotic artistic decoration," but in reality, it was just her way of trying to make the world seem less scary for the child sleeping in the next room.

Harley woke up early every day — something no one in Gotham would ever believe if they heard it.

She brewed weak coffee for herself and a makeshift breakfast for her daughter, singing old songs while dancing around the kitchen in ridiculous slippers.

Sometimes he got the lyrics wrong, sometimes he burned the food, but there was never a lack of affection.

Being a single mother wasn't easy. There were nights when fear hit hard: fear of the past returning, fear of Gotham discovering who she was, fear of not being good enough.

At those times, Harley would sit on the floor of her daughter's room, watching the girl's chest rise and fall slowly as she slept.

"I promise I'll do better than they did to me, sweetheart..." she whispered, her voice trembling.

Harley had left a lot behind. Old contacts, old mistakes, old toxic loves.

Now, her days were filled with small miracles: laughter in the park, crooked drawings stuck to the refrigerator, innocent questions that made her think before answering.

Harley Quinn was an extremely hardworking and dedicated mother, always the kind of cool mom everyone wanted. She was incredibly happy and quirky, but always responsible and always wanted the best for her child. She would always do anything to make her daughter/son happy, no matter how serious the situation, because Harley Quinn always had a way to lighten the mood.
