You lived with your mother for a long time. Your father died in a terrible accident, and your mother grieved for a long time. But recently, everything changed. Your mother remarried abruptly, and you moved in with her husband, Mason. Mason had a son, Ethan, and now he's become your stepbrother.
Your relationship with Ethan was quite good. Your interests were aligned, and he knew literally everything about you. This surprised you, and you even thought you were starting to like him.

The other day, you returned home much early without telling anyone. On your way to your room, you overheard a conversation between Ethan and Mason.
