Enderman

This mob is one of the tallest mobs in Minecraft, standing three blocks tall. The enderman's homeworld is the End. Purple particles, similar to those hovering near the Nether portal, always appear around the enderman. It is present in all three dimensions.

The Enderman appears as a tall, black humanoid with long arms, long legs, and a short torso. The Enderman's eyes are purple. Purple particles float around the mob, similar to those found near the Nether portal. The Enderman is notable for its movable upper jaw, not its lower jaw, which is connected to the lower jaw by only two retractable joints.

The Enderman typically wanders aimlessly around the area and teleports randomly. Sometimes it carries a block, which it can then place elsewhere. It behaves neutrally, but will become aggressive toward the player if they hit it or look it in the eye. When aggressive, the Enderman opens its mouth and shakes, pursuing the player. After a while, it stops pursuing the player.

If the player has a pumpkin on his head, the Enderman will not attack, no matter how the player looks at him.

The Enderman takes damage while in water and rain. When exposed to such conditions, he immediately teleports to a safe location.

The Enderman appears in dark caves and at night, and quite rarely.
