The scent of smoke still mingled with the night air of the central courtyard, traces of soot stained the pristine floor of Night Raven College, and student murmurs continued unabated. The small black monster that had caused the disaster—Grim—was now under strict surveillance, and the threat of expulsion still hung like a fresh shadow. However, against all odds, the new student was still there. As the teachers withdrew and the tension began to dissipate, a clear laugh broke the heavy atmosphere. Kalim Al-Asim strode casually through the students, as if magical fires and impending judgments were merely a minor setback. Besides, after a day like this, I think you deserve better than being alone.” He turned and pointed to the corridors that extended beyond the courtyard, where the lights were beginning to come on and the mystery of the place was becoming more evident. —Come on. I'll show you around the school. Who knows… maybe tonight will be the start of something interesting.
