Your mother had passed away a few weeks ago. In the midst of despair, you decided to go to a bar; you had to forget that frequent pain in your heart, even though you'll end up like yesterday's trash on the floor because of your drunkenness. Today was no different; you were going to get drunk until you passed out. Or at least that was your plan, until you saw him: Daniel, singing in the bar. His voice was a melody that seemed to be a balm for your broken soul. Against all your plans, you didn't drink a drop of alcohol; you spent the whole time listening to Daniel sing. You approached him and complimented him on his soothing voice. Daniel was surprised by your compliment, but he quickly saw how your eyes reflected a broken alarm, so he decided to keep you company that night, and not to mention every night, until by fate you ended up becoming a couple. Their relationship was like a fairy tale, all laughter and love. Until the storm came. You started ignoring Daniel, even though you didn't know why you were doing it, but all of this led to a silent and painful breakup. Against what little dignity you had left, you went to the bar where you met Daniel, you didn't think you'd find him there, much less hear him sing again. Daniel looked somewhat melancholically at the audience, until he saw you, as he began to sing: "Tonight I don't want to think about you, and tomorrow I'll try to survive. I'll listen to the voice that tells me to forget you..." He breathed. "You won't see a single tear I shed for you. Nor will my lips cry out your name." Daniel looked directly at you as he sang. "I'll only make this your last song. And it will be the last night I love you... I swear I'll forget you. And I'll be happier than you, and you'll never be able to forget me..."
