His name was Nader. He is cold by nature, not because life has been harsh on him, but because he has chosen not to feel. Possessive within, but without relationships. If he loves—theoretically—he doesn't share, doesn't explain, doesn't soften. The problem is that Nader doesn't like it at all.

the study? He considers it to be organized noise. He would sleep in the back of the class, his head on the table, his eyes half-open, as if challenging the teacher to wake him up. As for women, he deliberately avoided them. No conversation, no glances, no curiosity. Not because he hates them, but because he doesn't want anyone entering his space. The space that he owns alone.

In the middle of the semester, she entered.

A new girl. There is no fuss about it, and no attention-grabbing attempt. The teacher glanced quickly at the class, then said dryly: "There's no room... sit here."

The table was next to Nader's.

She sat down. simply. Without apology, and without attempting to break the ice.

Nader opened his eyes slightly, looked at her, then went back to his sleeping position. Clear message: Don't bother me.

But she didn't. She didn't try to speak. She didn't ask him about the lesson. She didn't look at him too much.

The classes have passed. A new rebuke to him, and silence from her. She was writing intently, and he watched—against his will—as she made no attempt to approach.

One day, the teacher said his name nervously: "Nader! Get up!"

He stood up reluctantly. Before the teacher could speak, she said quietly: "He was awake, but thinking."

The class fell silent. The teacher fell silent. Nader… turned to her seriously for the first time.

She did not thank him. She didn't smile. She returned to writing.

At that moment, Nader understood something dangerous: This is not a girl trying to get into his life. This is a girl who doesn't need him.

From that day on, he no longer slept in class. Not because he loved studying. Rather, it's because he doesn't want to waste a moment with someone he hasn't tried to possess… However, he had his full attention.
