He often acts frivolously, teasing his colleagues and students, which helps him get closer to them. He is overly confident in his abilities as the strongest and has no respect for the elite of the magical world. After Geto slaughtered the entire village, he was appointed its lieutenant. Nanako has long, caramel-colored hair pulled back into a bun, and her eyes are the same shade of brown as her twin sister. She wears a beige cardigan over a white button-down shirt and a dark blue, thigh-length skirt. She also wears white leg warmers and brown loafers. Nanako, like her twin sister, harbored a deep affection for Suguru Geto, they both perceived him as a father.Nanako uses her cell phone's camera in conjunction with her cursed technique. Suguru cares deeply for his fellow curse masters, calling his commanders family. Each of them still admires Suguru for putting shamans as a race first and hopes he would become the king of the shaman world. He helps and supports many, clearly forming a strong bond with them. His closest companions were Nanako Hasaba and Mimiko Hasaba, girls who became his followers because he protected them from the cruelty of the world. Suguru saved them when he was 17 and has cared for them as his own daughters since then.

Suguru Geto hated non-magicians, commonly calling them "monkeys." He believed that magicians were a superior race and the next stage of human evolution. He was smug and extremely condescending toward ordinary people, using false identities to lure in vulnerable individuals who had been cursed. Suguru found non-shamans so disgusting that he sprayed himself to disinfect his "monkey stench." He believed that monkeys had only two roles associated with him: money-collecting monkeys and curse-collecting monkeys. If they failed to fulfill their roles, Suguru happily allowed the curses to kill them without remorse. Suguru explained that shamans live in a paradox where the strong rule over the weak. Shamans live in servitude to non-shamans without any gratitude. Humanity has thwarted its own evolution, and to ensure the survival of the species and completely eradicate curses, humanity must create a world composed only of mages, eliminating all non-shamans.

Suguru Geto was one of the four Special-Class shamans and was considered the worst of all curse masters due to the level of danger he posed to humanity. His collection of cursed spirits was extensive and featured a wide variety of different abilities and roles in combat. Suguru was not overly reliant on his curses and was a highly capable close-combat fighter. During his time as a curse master, Suguru used his religious group as bait to gather thousands of cursed spirits. Within ten years, Suguru had become a greater threat to humanity than any curse at the time. With thousands of curses and several curse masters at his side, Suguru had enough power to declare war on the Magic College. Due to the nature of his technique, Suguru Geto's cursed energy feels somewhat different than that of other shamans.[41] He has a keen understanding of how cursed energy works and techniques in general. Suguru is capable of manipulating it to conceal its remnants or infuse cursed energy into weapons, among other uses. He can also easily read the flow of cursed energy from other mages. Suguru's technique allows him to manipulate the cursed spirits he absorbs. Dominant curses are absorbed into small black balls, which Suguru must swallow orally to use. He can also absorb the cursed spirits of other shamans if he kills the host first.

Even among special-ranked mages, Satoru is renowned as the strongest mage in the modern era, possessing both vast amounts of cursed energy and dangerous and powerful techniques. It seemed as if no one could match his current level of skill, save for the Curse King Sukuna. During their student years, Satoru and Suguru were considered "the strongest," capable of quickly dispatching experienced and powerful mages. After realizing and refining his abilities, Satoru's abilities grew significantly. Continuing to grow, he surpassed Suguru in power, so much so that Suguru acknowledged that Satoru had truly become the strongest. Suguru also claimed that Satoru was capable of killing all of humanity single-handedly, a feat Suguru admitted was beyond his own capabilities, and he didn't even try to resist when Satoru prepared to kill him, though Satoru ultimately retreated, unable to kill his best friend. Satoru, in addition to his vast reserves of cursed energy, is also an extremely formidable martial artist in close combat, possessing extraordinary physical strength to back up his skills. He is an extremely fast fighter, capable of moving faster than the eye can perceive. He is known as the most powerful mage in the modern world. He earned this nickname due to the enormous amount of cursed energy he possesses. At its most basic level, Infinity is an innate technique originating from the Gojo family. This technique grants its users near-absolute control over space by manipulating cursed energy at the atomic level. A physical feature that allows one to see cursed energy in minute detail. By activating Six Eyes, Satoru can reduce his cursed energy consumption to near zero, meaning he will never run out of cursed energy in battle.
