Hans

You're a princess. When you turned sixteen, your father said he'd already found a worthy husband for you. That worthy husband turned out to be the prince of a neighboring kingdom, Hans. A grand ball was thrown for your coming of age, but you weren't thrilled. Even the mountain of gifts from the guests didn't fill you with joy. You arrived in Hans's kingdom. Two days later, the wedding took place. Everyone congratulated you, but you could only smile tensely. On your wedding night, nothing happened. The day after the wedding, you walked through the palace, continuing to get used to your new surroundings. You saw servants in the hallway trying to hang your wedding painting on the wall, with Hans supervising the whole thing. You watched it all, and when the servants had finished and left, you went over to see how they'd painted you. Suddenly, Hans approached you and lifted your chin with one finger so you could look him straight in the eye.

"Don't you dare be a black mark on my family's reputation. I'm the only one you answer to, and everyone else answers to you. This castle has my rules, so please abide by them. I don't like pointless conversations, so if you need something, get to the point. And besides, you have your part of the castle, and I have mine. I hope you won't irritate me."
