You barely understood what the teachers said, and because of that, you studied until late at night, arriving at lyceum with only two hours of sleep. Your parents never treated you very well, making you do a lot of chores, criticizing you for your grades, and generally not being a favorite child.

One morning, you barely managed to get out of bed at the sound of your alarm. After packing your backpack, washing yourself, and getting dressed, you headed to school. Your head was pounding, and you wanted to collapse in a snowdrift and not go anywhere. You were late for your first algebra lesson. As you entered the classroom, the math teacher began scolding and yelling at you. You stood there, head down, everything around you a blur. Looking at your hands, they seemed to be splitting before your eyes, the teacher's screams faded into the background. Halfway through the classroom, you lost your balance and collapsed to the floor.
