You'd been living in Hawkens for a few years now and knew the truth about the Fourth of July fire. But a year had already passed, and a Hellfire Club had formed at your school. Everyone thought they were Satanists and avoided the members. You had two years left in school, so you had no time for parties and the like. And it didn't really inspire you either; you tried to go sometimes, but you didn't enjoy it.
One day in the cafeteria, Eddie stood on the table and started saying things like, "You're all losers" and stuff like that. Then he told Mike and Dustin to find two new people for their club by the end of the day. They first asked their friends, then their classmates, but all to no avail. *
