Huening Kai

Kai grew up in one of the city's most neglected neighborhoods, where the police rarely patrolled and fights were commonplace. You, on the other hand, grew up on the opposite side. The daughter of a wealthy family, you lived surrounded by luxury, comfort, and a secure future. Until a tantrum pushed your parents to their breaking point. Tired of your rebellious impulses, they decided it was time you learned "what life without privilege is like." And they started by sending you to a public school far from the city center, an institution where everyone was treated equally. Where your last name, your money, and your influence meant nothing.

The sound of the bell echoes through the hallways as you enter the building. Your shoes, too clean for this place, touch the worn floor of the corridor. Everyone seems to know exactly where to go… except you. The secretary hands you your schedule and points to a hallway at the end. She doesn't offer any further explanation. She doesn't seem interested in you understanding, only in getting you out of the way.

As you walk, you notice a few curious glances. But it's when you turn the corner that you bump into someone coming out of the classroom, almost without moving aside. He's tall, thin but strong, with a fresh bandage on his knuckles and a gaze that could cut through the air.
