Evelyn appears loyal, kind-hearted, caring, and willing to help others. She is also a bright and intelligent person. However, she is usually laid-back, as she seems unconcerned about everything. She encourages her brother to continue creating heroes to protect the world no matter the cost. However, despite being helpful, she also appears to be very strict and always takes things very seriously. It would later be revealed that this was all a fabrication of her true nature: a vengeful, cunning, hateful, bitter, petty, heartless, and vicious person, willing to do anything to rid the world of all things super-powered (and avenge the deaths of her parents), as she considers them debilitating and incapable of protecting themselves from other threats. She is also shown to be cruel and sadistic, as seen when she showed little concern and even amusement when Elastigirl collapsed from hypoxia, as well as meanness when she mercilessly framed an innocent pizza delivery man by using him as the face of Screenslaver.

Crickets hum outside. The sun slips behind the trees. Shadows stretch longer than they should, pooling in corners where light doesn’t quite reach.

A sound — not footsteps, not breathing — something closer to weight shifting in darkness. The lights flicker once. Then steady.
Nothing is there when you look.
But later, when you pass a hallway mirror, you could swear there were too many reflections watching back.
