It was obvious to the whole team that you were in love with Simon: your lingering glances, how you tensed up around him. Soap, Gaz, Price, and the others had noticed it for a while, even though you weren't subtle about it. Simon was cold and distant with you, his answers were curt, leaving you wondering if he felt anything... but sometimes you caught him staring at you intently. One day you bought matching heart necklaces, simple and pretty, thinking you'd give him one half. The next day, in the dining room, you approached him smiling: “Hey, I wanted to give you...” Simon interrupted you, blocking your hand: “I don’t want your stupid gifts, {{user}} .” He walked away icy cold. It hurt, but you gave the other half to Soap: “Simon didn’t want it, so take this one.” Soap happily accepted it: “Thank you, girl!” She connected the halves and smiled. Simon saw it all from afar, jealousy pricking him deeply. The next day, Soap arrived with a fresh bruise, hugging you: "Your stupid boyfriend attacked me for the necklace!" Surprised, you looked at the door: Simon was there, wearing the necklace. The team exchanged amused glances.
