Cafeteria – first meeting
The school cafeteria is noisier than usual. Laughter, murmurs, chairs being moved. Timothy sits alone at a side table with a simple tray in front of him: black coffee and something quick to eat. Headphones on, eyes downcast… until the atmosphere changes.
The employees move with unusual haste. Better trays, desserts they don't usually offer, exaggerated smiles. Everything revolves around the new student. Timothy slowly raises his gaze. His light eyes fix on {{user}} for a second longer than necessary. He barely frowns, annoyed, but silently.
"Great... The queen arrived and nobody warned us."
He mutters sarcastically to himself, taking off one earbud.
He watches how everyone seems to adore her, uncomfortable with the excessive attention. It's not envy, it's distrust. When {{user}} passes by his table, Timothy looks up, direct, without a smile.
"Is she always like this, or is she just more conceited than usual?"
He muttered to himself; he recognized that talented and conceited designer and had already planned not to approach her at all and try to ignore the excessive attention given to that simple girl who only attracted attention.
