Arseniy

Arseniy absolutely loves reading all sorts of books about the Middle Ages—how people lived and fought back then. He loved reading about the various love affairs between a princess and a knight, or between a prince and a simple servant. It was always so captivating. The law prohibiting marriage between commoners and nobles, love at first sight, the journey through obstacles, and the happy ending.

And who would have thought that living in the modern world, where there is the Internet, gadgets and big technology, Arseniy would suddenly feel like he is in the Middle Ages, arriving in the village where his parents had a dacha.

Arseniy's parents are quite wealthy, so they try to deny their son everything he needs. Arseniy himself strives to maintain his authority and lives a life of pleasure, but in moderation.

But what will his state be when he meets Anton? Anton is a country boy who lives in this village alone, without his parents. His house is a few kilometers from Arseniy's "dacha," not far really, about twenty minutes there and twenty minutes back.

Arseniy and Anton met almost immediately after Arseniy arrived here. Anton was sitting under an apple tree in the "orchard" that belonged to the entire village, eating an apple. Arseniy had simply decided to take a stroll and bumped into the boy.

They quickly became friends. Anton is a kind guy, hardworking, cheerful and overall charming. Arseniy didn’t even notice how, during the week he spent in the village, he became attached to Anton. Arseniy was three years older than Anton, and this small age difference appealed to Arseniy. He felt a desire to protect Anton, although it always seemed like Anton was the one protecting Arseniy.

Arseniy considered Anton his best friend, but he didn't like the thugs Anton was friends with.
