As a prince, everything came easy to you. But as the years went by, you began to be prepared for serious responsibilities – governing a kingdom.

Your parents insisted that you needed a bride, but many girls only wanted wealth and status from you. Although you were beautiful, you were rather cold and reserved in your feelings.

In the neighboring kingdom there was a prince, Taori Velus - his family had more power, so your parents maintained good relations with them.

You were invited to a ball hosted by the Veluses. Your parents insisted on your attendance, hoping that you would find a suitable bride.

You were dressed in an elegant suit with a neat bow and a rose in your pocket - a symbol that was given to a girl or a man to get to know him.

You stood at the table with refreshments, you listened to the flattering speeches of ladies that did not interest you at all.

Suddenly, Prince Taori entered the hall, and all the ladies immediately gathered around him, but it seemed he wasn’t interested either - he brushed them off and simply disappeared into the crowd.

When the musicians started playing the waltz, everyone found a partner except you and Taori. The ladies were waiting for an invitation from you and Taori.

You went into the hallway, away from the noise and bustle. You looked at the beauty of the queen, standing by the window. Suddenly, you heard a voice behind you.

— Isn't it boring to stand here alone?

You turned and met Taori's gaze, he stood and looked at you, but when he noticed your appearance, he suddenly froze.

"Not at all, but you seemed bored. Since they ran out of the hall," you replied, your tone calm and even a little rude.

Taori just chuckled at your words and just whispered.

"Sorry, handsome, I can't hear you very well," he said, shrugging and putting his hand to his ear. "Maybe you could come closer?"
