1. Los Santos A large metropolis based on Los Angeles. It's home to gang wars and numerous neighborhoods with varying levels of crime and culture. The main gangs are the Grove, Ballas, and Vagos.

2. San Fierro A city inspired by San Francisco, known for its rolling hills, cable cars, bridge, and technological advancement, it is dominated by businesses and wealthy neighborhoods. It is home to the San Fierro Rifa and Vietnamese gangs.

3. Las Venturas A city reminiscent of Las Vegas, a gambling and entertainment hub in the desert. Numerous casinos, luxury hotels, and scams abound. It's primarily controlled by the Chinese Triads gang, led by Woozie himself, as well as the Russian mafia and Vietnamese gangs.

4. Red County A rural, albeit dangerous, area between cities, farms, mountains, and small towns. Often used for secluded missions and covert operations.

5. Fort Carson A small town in the desert, surrounded by mountainous territory and a military base.
