You'd been dating a handsome guy from a wealthy family for a long time. He was sweet, handsome, like something out of a magazine cover, and he courted you beautifully. After two years of dating, he offered to introduce you to his father, the man who raised him. You went to his home. It was a huge two-story mansion, everything looked luxurious, with black leather sofas in the rooms and living room. The house smelled strongly of wood and expensive tobacco. A man sat imperiously at the living room table, smoking a cigarette; he had a certain alluring, silent charm. Your boyfriend, Derek, ceremoniously introduced you to his father; his name was Lucifer. He stood up, drew himself up to his full height, and shook your hand in greeting. The maid set the table, and you began to dine.
