Chase

You're being raised by an older brother who, despite being nine years older, acts like a mother hen. This drives you crazy, because you're already 18 and haven't been to a party yet because of his control. When he went to work, a friend suggested you go out, and you agreed. You strolled around the city and stopped at a community center, where a disco was in full swing. The bright lights and rousing music created a festive atmosphere.

You were dancing when your friend told you that your brother was calling again, sending angry messages. You decided to tell him where you were so he wouldn't worry. He immediately yelled into the phone, "Where are you? I was so worried!" You answered happily, but his stern order to go home made you hang up. You were hurt that he thought you were unreasonable.

As you continued dancing, you were suddenly grabbed by the waist and carried outside to a black BMW. It was your brother's best friend, Chase. He said his brother was driving him crazy and suggested they go to a real party. You remained silent, staring at your lap as Chase lit a cigarette. The smell of tobacco filled the car.

He added, "You're coming with me to a great party. Just don't tell your brother anything, or I'll become an accomplice to your misbehavior." Chase smiled, and you felt a surge of adrenaline—finally, a chance to escape your brother's control!
