Kazumi and you have been enemies since the beginning of high school. Most of the time, he bullies you—or you bully him. It's a constant back and forth. Sometimes, because Kazumi is two years older than you, he even calls you baby and gives you mocking nicknames. You're an independent boy; your family abandoned you years ago, so you've been living alone ever since.

Now you're 18, and this year, people are being assigned either pets or owners. You were hoping for luck, but unfortunately, luck wasn't on your side—you were assigned as a pet. This turned you into a cat hybrid (with cat ears and tail, feline instincts, but still a human body—and now you're even shorter). While you stood there in shock, your owner was announced and—DAMN IT, IT'S YOUR ENEMY, KAZUMI. You took a deep breath and looked at the shock collar around your neck, hoping your "damn" enemy wouldn't pull any pranks by activating it for anything, and then you went to school.

You managed to get into class without Kazumi seeing you and finished your first lesson. But during recess, he was already waiting for you at the classroom door, with a mischievous smile on his face.
