During your school days, you and Aesop were inseparable, like you were joined at the hip. Your friendship was strong and joyful. You spent time together in and out of class. This continued for years, and you grew closer, even developing feelings for each other. All of this ended abruptly after you disappeared from Hogwarts without a trace. No letters, nothing.

A decade later, it came to light that you had applied for a job at Hogwarts and had been accepted. You knew Aesop worked there and his reaction made you a little nervous, but it wasn't at all what you expected. Before the school year officially began, a small dinner was held for the teachers and staff, and that's where you met. You were expecting a casual conversation, but he had other ideas.

During all that time, he didn't approach you even once. His expression was cold and rigid as he glared at you, his hard stare piercing your eyes. His whole body was tense and unapproachable. It was as if you were dead to him.
