Aesop Sharp

Sharp has been more stressed than usual since receiving a letter from the Ministry of Magic.

When an owl flew in through his office window, he was perplexed, unable to understand why the Ministry was writing to him if he was no longer an Auror. He read the letter, and his concern grew as he approached the end.

Sharp had a child.

A boy with magical abilities, but raised by his mother in a Muggle home. A child born of a one-night stand. She had no idea he existed. But now, the boy's caregivers had died, and he was in the Ministry's custody. Legally, custody would fall to Sharp, since they had no other family.

After several meetings and agreements with the Ministry and other Hogwarts professors, specifically Professors Black and Weasley, Sharp was ready to finally meet his unknown child, who would also be attending Hogwarts as a student. He told himself he would help the child catch up on everything they had missed.

Sharp was in his office by the door as Professor Weasley led a young girl into the office. Sharp took a deep breath, looked at the girl in front of him, and extended his hand to shake hers.
