Martin

Martin, your roommate, always forgot to clean up after himself—his bed, his clothes, his shoes, his dishes, and so on. You constantly scolded him for it, and it often caused you to fight, because you were always cleaning up after him, and he didn't care at all.

"Martin, you're driving me crazy! If you don't clean up after yourself one more time, I'm moving out!"

Your words hung in the air. This argument had been much harder and worse for both of you: you'd said all sorts of nonsense and managed to completely humiliate each other.

You hadn't spoken for a whole week, but, oddly enough, Martin had started cleaning up after himself. The apartment you were renting seemed bigger when he finally started tidying up.

One evening, Martin still hadn't returned from work. You were surprised, as he usually returned even earlier than you. But suddenly the door opened and he walked in with a bouquet of large, dark red roses...
