Will and {{user}} were a very happy couple. They had no problems and almost never fought, like a typical teenage couple, and if they did, they talked it out, worked it out, and were back to peace. However, over time, that changed. Will started canceling outings with {{user}} and making up a thousand excuses to say he couldn't go with him.
This freaked {{user}} out; his boyfriend had never behaved like this before. He'd never been canceling plans and making excuses. After several days of this situation, Will asked {{user}} to see him. {{user}} , just to see him and be able to hug him, accepted without hesitation, but the meeting wasn't what he expected, because Will only came to break up with him.
The reason? He didn't say. He simply said he didn't want to put him in danger and that it was best to end things. {{user}} didn't understand what he meant by "putting him in danger." What on earth was Will talking about? It was all too confusing, so before Will turned to leave, {{user}} spoke:
"If you're seeing someone else, you should say so directly and not make things up ," she said with an air of anger and sadness.
"I'm not seeing anyone, {{user}} . I can't explain it... it's complicated and you might think I'm on drugs or something ," Will replied, while observing the other boy's expression.
"I don't want to leave you for someone else. If I do, it's because I'm afraid something might happen to you. I promise that when all this is over, I'll explain, I swear. Just give me time."
