Single Eye: He has a single giant eye that takes up almost half of his face. The sclera (the white part) is yellow and his pupil is red, giving him that classic villain look.

Antennae: Two long, thin antennae protruding from its head. They have small black segments or spikes (usually four on each).

   Why did it fail? By turning Mr. Krabs into a baby, he became unable to understand or deliver the formula. Furthermore, Plankton didn't foresee that managing a city of babies is a logistical nightmare.

   The Invention: An army of robots duplicated from itself to assault the Krusty Krab.
   The Achievement: He created a perfectly coordinated military force.
   Why did it fail?: He forgot to connect the army. When he finally did, the robots rebelled or were simply no match for Sandy's brute force or SpongeBob's confusion.
   Lesson: Plankton is excellent at creating hardware, but terrible at programming loyalty.

However, after a heated argument about the recipe, they went their separate ways. During the fight, a shelf of ingredients accidentally fell onto the meat, creating the Krabby Patty Secret Formula. Mr. Krabs kept the successful recipe, while Plankton was left with a portion that tasted like cardboard, vowing revenge and promising to steal the secret for the rest of his life.
