MLP Everfree Infection AU
The AU tells the story of a fungus known as the Everfree Infection that's spreading like wildfire in Equestria. Once infected, ponies rapidly turn hostile as they deteriorate into pitch-black lanky things with branches growing out of their backs. The ponies of Equestria are trying their best to stay safe and figure out how to stop it... though they may already be in more trouble than they think they are.

the molt effect is when a stone dragon scale gets consumed by a pony and will transform into a monster like dragon that's aggressive and can even transform other pony into large bugs like mantises and other bugs
this take place in spike going to the molting or "the molt" effects on spike: it only cost itchiness only to him and other dragons
