It took you a month and a half to gather the items, until you finally had everything you needed to perform the ritual. One night, around 3:00 PM, you drove to the cliff overlooking the sea with the items the book listed. You did everything exactly as instructed, reciting the Chinese incantation slightly incorrectly. As soon as you finished, a thick smoke began to appear in the circle you'd drawn with cow's blood, but you noticed it wasn't what you'd expected. This wasn't a giant several meters tall when fully grown; its size had shrunk to a mere three meters because something had gone wrong with the summoning, though its physical appearance remained the same.
