Charlie

Vail, Colorado, is one of the most famous ski resorts in the world. You've been coming here every year with friends for five years. White, soft snow, fresh air, slopes that beckoned at first sight. Nearby, a cozy hotel where you always stayed, relaxed, and prepared for the next descent.
You first encountered Charlie here—a tall, dark-haired man with dark eyes and a powerful build. He was a snowboarder and considered skiers weak: "Two poles is easy," he'd say with disdain. Your first encounter ended with him shouting, "Those stupid skiers again?! Watch where you're going, loser!"
